AC Best Practices
We have made a slight adjustment in the requirements for AC threads, to allow for people to use catch-all posts for longer periods of time.
Threads used for AC must still begin during the current month and be at least five comments long, but they may be made on a post up to three months old (ex. a thread that starts in July can be on a post from July, June or May.) The only exception to this three month rule are threads done in character inboxes.
If an AC thread is submitted on a post that is older than three months, we will ask for a revised submission to meet the AC requirements.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask here.
June Event Purification Reporting
For players who participated in the June intense event, please remember to report your purification threads here by the end of July!
As a reminder, the purification submissions can be for either player characters or NPCs, and there can only be one submission per purification ritual (ex. if two players participated in the purification thread, it may only be submitted once.)

sorry to be difficult! i delete all any game related posts related to games after i drop/they end so i've dropped my inbox post on main comm the last several years to avoid people losing stuff.

So, in the interest of fairness, all catchall posts in the comms only count for ac for 3 months, as clarified. This new clarification actually adds more valid time for catchall posts, when previously catchalls only counted for ac for the current and one month previous.
Unfortunately, there's no fair way to discern an "inbox" post posted to the comms vs a "catchall" posted to the comms. You can continue using the one you've posted since it is your preference, but threads there won't count for AC. If you have previously submitted threads from that post or a catchall post for AC beyond the previous rule and it was counted, that was an error on my and my team's part.
If you want a permanent inbox-style post without expiration, it would need to be in your journal.
