➽ This month is a relaxed month, so look forward to seeing the Sleepr posted on the 12th (get your cute pictures ready!). Otherwise, you can feel free to continue to use the prompts from the TDM to create your own logs or network posts!
➽ For 2024, we will continue to follow our schedule of relaxed months (Jan/Mar/May/Jul/Sept/Nov) followed by intense months (Feb/Apr/Jun/Aug/Oct/Dec), however we will be changing up which intense months have a regular event (Apr/Aug) versus a Dream Event (Feb/Jun/Oct). As always, anyone who wants to submit their character's canon for a future Dream Event is welcome to do so here!

About Me: I'm a cartoonist who draws what she loves: Doctor Who, The X-Files, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon, a handful of other TV shows, and yeah. I'm in California, so that's Pacific (-8 GMT). Currently unemployed but I work in print projects, so posters, presentations, photo development, laminating, binding, photo editing, graphic design, you know... print stuff. I had to leave my last job because they were verbally abusive, so that sucks. I'm also a mobile notary, but that's not as fun.
Rose Tyler | Doctor Who
Canon: Doctor Who
Character Age: 21
General Info: A woman from London, England, who got swept away into a world of time and space with an alien named the Doctor. She was initially a bit of a brat with low self-esteem, but travelling with the Doctor opened her up to new opportunities and a sense of badassery. She went from working in a retail shop to touting a giant alien gun and blowing up Daleks. I recently canon updated her to Series 4, so she's not the whiny little jealous snot she was in series 2 (and I say this lovingly. Playing her as a snot was fun!) Our Tenth Doctor recently was swept, but they might be coming back next month, so that'll be nice if it does happen. Rose lives in the Doctor's castle with, uh... well, Jack Harkness, and to be honest, I forget who else. It's a big castle, though, so lots of room if castmates or other people want a place to sleep!
Housing Plans: Oh, whoops. I just answered this. In a castle, formerly with the Doctor, currently with Captain Jack, and no plans to move out at the moment.
Desired CR: Friends would be nice! I was a hermit the first few months she was in the game, and without the Doctor as a go-between, I have to have her make some of her own friends. No romantic relationships, though. She's with Jack and the Doctor in a poly relationship. And hey, if we plan for it, we can get her some begrudged enemies or even a "I could not give less of a shit about you" sort of thing, haha. Not sure how much fun that would be for us, but it's an option.
Initial Plans: She has no job at the moment, but I was planning on having her get a job at a shop. But now that she's been canon-updated, I think I'm going to have her go into something more badass, like law enforcement or something like that, I dunno. I'll have to research it. Again, I haven't been playing her to the extent I should have, so I'm going to be trying to be better about it.
RP Wishlist: Animal fun would be fun! Her power is that she can shapeshift into a wolf (she is the Bad Wolf, after all, winkwink), which she's barely used, so that'd be cool. Mostly I just need to get her some friends. I don't expect canonmates at this point, so open to all! If you want to talk laser guns sometime, time travel, alien cultures, being a deadbeat as a teenager, that'd all be welcome.

Fox Mulder | The X-Files
Canon: The X-Files
Character Age: 36
General Info: I'm going to quote Mulder himself from the first movie, which is when I take his canon point from:
"I'm the key figure in an on-going government charade, the plot to conceal the truth about the existence of extraterrestrials. It's a global conspiracy, actually, with key players in the highest levels of power, that reaches down into the lives of every man, woman, and child on this planet. (laughs) So, of course, no one believes me. I'm an annoyance to my superiors, a joke to my peers. They call me Spooky. Spooky Mulder, whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was just a kid and who now chases after little green men with a badge and a gun, shouting to the heavens or to anyone who will listen that the fix is in, that the sky is falling and when it hits it's gonna be the shit-storm of all time."
Housing Plans: Oh geeze, someone get him an apartment. Unless they're nice, then they can offer him a room in a house or something. I'm not picky. He's not picky. He used to live in an apartment with no bedroom, so he'd sleep on his couch next to his computer and his tropical fish.
Desired CR: Give me everything. He's brand new this month. As he stated himself, he's kind of an annoying guy who's obsessed with aliens and finding his kidnapped sister. He's very, VERY dedicated to whatever his ADHD has settled on that day, so he'll be pretty intense at times. Friends are always nice. He's a sex addict, so while I don't want to play anything out, hook-ups would be cool too. Anyone begrudgingly friending him and putting up with his antics would make me laugh. Someone being just flat-out irritated with him all the time would work for me too, if that interests anyone.
No actual romance, though. He's been burned too many times to open himself up to anybody except his partner, Dana Scully, who isn't in the game.
Initial Plans: He's getting a job as a private investigator, law enforcement, or something to that effect. I'll have to research it. To be honest, he'll want to get some fish, but let's face it--if he's gone from home as often as he was in the show, those fish are going to die.
RP Wishlist: Get him some friends who aren't conspiracy nerds! Fellow law enforcement would be great so he'd have something to talk about. He loves basketball and baseball (he's memorized statistics for fun). Also, since he's from 1998, anybody from the future could fill him in on anything that's happened on current Earth since then. Oh, and even better: ALIENS. Non-human folk. Blow his mind by not wanting to exterminate the Earth. Hell, ACTUALLY WANT TO EXTERMINATE THE EARTH AND TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT. Oh geeze, I'd laugh my ass off.
