It pisses Finnick off. The way Maruki laughs and says something briefly sympathetic before turning the subject to himself again. This Maruki doesn't really know Finnick, so he probably doesn't really get the gravity of what he's going through, but still, Finnick is surprised by how it's brushed off. Maruki is usually an empathetic guy, which is literally the only reason Finnick trusts him with this information at this point in time. It's a big thing that Finnick told him at all, and it's being treated like gossip. Sure, he could tell the funny stabbing story or whatever, but he's not in the mood currently, not when he's so freshly devastated by the news that here, the love of his (after)life is married to someone else.
